United Ethanol in Milton, Wisconsin began producing fuel ethanol in March of 2007. Conceived by United Cooperative as a way to add value to the corn grown by its members, the plant completed an equity drive in just 90 days attracting over 400 individual investors. The facility manufactures nearly 50 million gallons of ethanol annually and has been extracting corn oil since 2011. Tour attendees will gets a boots on the ground look at a top-notch facility that exemplifies the production assets built during corn ethanol’s big build out.
